Biography

 

Após 11 anos como vocalista nos grupos Funk ‘N Lata (entre 2000 e 2003) - a convite de Ivo Meirelles - e Farofa Carioca - substituindo simplesmente o Seu Jorge -, Mario Broder encara, com sagacidade e talento, o desafio de lançar seu segundo disco solo como cantor e compositor. Esse carioca da Zona Oeste, que se iniciou na música ainda criança, tem o samba como base mas dialoga com inventividade com o mundo pop. Ele também é ator, tendo interpretado Wilson Baptista no filme “Noel Rosa – O poeta da Vila”, dirigido por Ricardo Van Steen.

 

Em sua carreira, tem como referências artistas como Jorge Benjor, Tim Maia, Luiz Melodia e navega entre diversos estilos musicais, como o Sambalanço, Pop, Soul, MPB e o samba, tendo feito shows pelo mundo inteiro representando a cultura brasileira. 

 

Em 2013, lançou o álbum “Balanço diferente”, seu primeiro disco solo que contou com a participação da lendária Elza Soares.

 

Agora, 10 anos depois, vai lançar o segundo álbum, que conta com 8 músicas produzidas por Dudu Chermont.

Mario Broder is a Brazilian singer from Rio de Janeiro. He was the lead singer from the band Farofa Carioca and Funk N Lata. Mario performs with his band (guitar, bass, drums and percussion) his own songs from the album “Balanço Diferente” With many years on the road in Brazil and abroad, MARIO BRODER exudes irreverence and high astral in his musical performances. The invitation is to explore the different Brazilians musical aspects ranging from Soul Music to Rock'n'Roll, from Funk to Samba-Rock. the shows always suggest a dancing, elegant, joyful ball, in line with the singer's Brazilian style.
